Plentiful rains through mid-June gave me one of my best bloom seasons ever. Many potential introductions graduated from the seedling patch to the garden for further evaluation. The focus of my hybridizing efforts continues to be doubles and singles with edges, although black daylilies and those with teeth are of particular interest to me. My newest black introduction, Black Fury, has a narrow red edge, and I am working to widen the edge. I have also begun to dabble in spiders and have many promising seedlings in the garden. Garden visitors are always welcome, but please call in advance to assure that I will be available to greet you.

Celestial Gardens is state inspected each year. All daylilies are field grown and all divisions are natural (no BAP paste or tissue culture!). Orders are shipped Priority Mail, and shipping charges are $9 for the first plant and $1 for each additional purchase.
