Brian:
Hello Sister!
I was sitting at work a few days ago - surfing the net, looking for information about Goldens. My Golden is named "St. Shelby." She's the best!
Somehow I came upon your name and your wonderful article "Touched by the Peacemaker." It is very beautiful - it brought my wife and me to tears.
God bless you and all your good work. You and Pax are a wonderful example for all of us !
Best regards
Brian from NJ

Sue Lehman: Hello Sister Pauline !
I met you many yrs ago at a Dog Training Facility in Green Bay Wi ...I was so awed with the program that it sparked my interest in Human/Animal Bond. I was a breeder at that time and donated one of my smartest pups to the Program at Sanger Powers. Unfortunately that program is now defunct :( Any plans on getting this wonderful program back into our little corner of the world ?? In my opinion Everyone Wins with this Program ! I am now involved with Golden Rescue and there are times when we find dogs that would be perfect canidates !
Thank you for all that you have done !
Sincerly

Montana Hodges: Greetings everyone,
This is a note from Montana, a cousin (prima) of Sister Pauline. A couple of years ago Pauline encouraged me to join her on a trip to El Salvador to help the disabled. We spent one week helping many people in great need of assistance. We met people who were unable to leave the inside of their house because they lacked hospital equipment neccesary to move. The trip to El Salvador changed the way I looked at the world. Since that time I have focused my energy on pursuing journalism and some day I hope to be able to spread education through writing.

Hugh: This is a great page. I noticed the photo of the Japanese book on dogs trained by inmates to help out in the community. I live in Japan and saw a documentary not long ago about the very same program. I hope they'll introduce it here one day, as Japanese correctional institutions are pretty miserable places, and I'm certain a program like this would serve so many purposes at once. Please keep up the great work!

Kathleen L. Voss, OP: This site is beautiful and a real inspiration. I can not even begin to imagine how touched you must be by these women using their incarceration in a meaningful, dedicated manner. Congratulations on all that you do. You
surely have opened the door for many women's personal enrichment let alone the others that receive help from their efforts.
God bless you in all your work.

Jeanne Stickling, OP: The photos and descriptions of this project are so very interesting. This is truely a work inspired by the Spirit of Dominican dedication. Sr. Pauline has done wonders for many who instruct the dogs as well as those who will benefit from the use of these animals. God has guided her to reach out to many less forturnate than the rest of us. May we assist her in our support and prayers with this endeavor and the many other areas of her work.
I am grateful as a Dominican to have such a fine person among the Family of St. Dominic to continue his work of Preaching in the best way each and everyone of us can.
