gphunter: Mary, your work has truly inspired me to paint vintage and unusual things...hand saws, oil cans, watering cans. Your eye for design is amazing...you select just the right designs for your surfaces. Your painting on books is an idea I would like to try this winter. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful work.

It was a teffific walk thru your picture trail. I almost forgot the roses. Flowers are a favorite. Maybe you and I need to talk about roses on votive holders. Love, Nita

After starting with OS, I am now studying oriental/Chinese/Japanese (sumi-e) ink brushwork. This is a very obscure type of painting; I've had fun finding resources/books, etc. Teachers are VERY few and far between. It is so nice to find someone else who has this oriental interest. Bamboo, fish, and lotus are my areas of interest also. It is so nice to see other than the usual designs...thank you. Hope you have a lovely day. LaceyAnn
