Diane Demarest Becker: Peggy
Today, Kay Ellen Rennard's husband, Dave, sent me her cap and pin to keep here at Hopkins, retunring them home so to speak. In my reveries, I decided to see what great art you have been up to lately. I love the dolls. I also read your web log. Seems like you are very active and not at all retired. I so hope you will come to a reunion and bring some of your lovely work. I remeber a necklace you made o silk fabric I think --wonderful! The 2007 knitting and the art quilts are beautiful. I used one of your pieces to make the cover for our memory book for the class a couple of years ago--it is still one of my favorites. The colors were beautiful, and nostaligic. I do some jewelry, but mostly work (too much) doing research. I years for artistic freedom but am worried it will compete mostly with a stronger desire for naps. I don't know how you do it all so well! Warm regards--I am ever admiring.
