Smith: Was the name of the Elevation Op. a guy named Don Montry? He was fairly tall but I can`t remember exactly when he left.

David Payne: It was outstanding seeing all these pictures of the old homestead again Larry. You should be given a three day pass for your efforts. Remember me? I was the MTR operator from 1972 until Dec.74 when I got out. Two 'Honor Battery' awards at ASP in Greece; one as the Range Operator when Tim Argue was MTR, and one as MTR with Steve Duran as my assistant(Range Op for the TTR). Bob Hargrave was the TTR Operator(Azimuth), and I be damned if I can remember the name of the Elevation Op. I can only remember that he was very tall. I believe Sgt. Anderson was the Crew chief the last time, and Sgt. Black was the first time. What a memory those days were. Can you believe they let people of our caliber play with Nuclear tipped missiles? I still carry the Honor Battery Missileman fob on my keychain just to make sure I never forget those days. I can give you two other Email addresses: bigbadsofttail@yahoo.com is Steve Duran, and rhargrave5@comcast.net is Bob Hargrave. Duran got out at the beginning of 74 and Hargrave in Sept 74. I think it must of been you that sent a picture of myself to me along time ago. I was using a friend's computer then and it wasn't clear where I got it from. That was Mike Garcia next to me. He was a tower guard and fellow stoner back then, probably dead now. I was over on my friend's computer about a month ago and he mentioned to me that he keeps getting jokes forwarded to him from a lswinney and I put two and two together. His Email is MPflu11811@aol.com just so you'll know. I've got to go to bed now because I've spent two hours downloading all your pictures. I sure am glad somebody took pictures. I had some of Greece but I loaned them to Steve Duran about a year after I got out,(we lived about 60 miles apart in New Mexico), and I have yet to get them back. Thanks again for the memories and congratulations on finding a good woman out of all that. David Jon Payne P.S. I kind of Stole the SOP out of the Secret Safe at IFC one day while was on COR duty and I still have it with my records. It was signed by everybody in the IFC area because Lt. Crow wanted verification of everybody reading it. If you'ld like, I can scan them and send them along to you if you reply with your Email address. Mine is davidjonpayne@hotmail.com Peace

Tom Fish: Larry, I looked through your pictures again and they are great. You had a picture of Jim Krawzyk there. As I remember he was one of the last draftees in the Army and got out a couple months earlier.

Smith: Larry the guy who owes you money or maybe more properly "owed" you money is Mike Sivley. He was the Battery "Space Cadet" from Tennessee. Nice pics. I left in 75. Had some great years there. I knew Murray, Mosely, O`Connell and Lackey. Also knew Kittleson. I worked in supply. I was the guy with the beautiful blonde haired German girl friend who drove the blue VW. Still in contact with her. May go back and see her in a few years. Later

Robin Smith: Larry;
Great pictures. Bring back a lot of memories. Glad to see me mentioned in one, and to see my BMW in another. By the way, I am sure the statute of limitations has run out long ago, so you can tell us all who "launched" the AJAX missile now.
If you visited Stump, why no picture of him?
Lastly, do you want/need some more BRAVO pictures?
February 17, 2002 1:35AM
Clete Hall: I had another look at your pictures of Bravo and they are great. Even after 41 years they bring back memories. What was it about that place??? I hope to get the chance to meet you at the reunion in Branson.

Roger Porter: Hey Larry, again, these are great pictures of Bravo....I wish I had gotten more/better pics while I was there working at BOC. But, they kind of, you know, frowned on us taking pictures. These bring back great memories.
