sue black: How do you keep your tied hand of tobacco from drying out and falling apart? Possibly misting it like I do mine. I was so thrilled when I saw this and it brought back so many wonderful memories of the stripping room on the farm in Kentucky and the many hands of tobacco that we tied.

PHOEBEMACALLISTER: Hi! I'd like more information about the Olde Homestead Antique Show in Richmond, Indiana on March 8. Whom should I contact for more info?
February 3, 2008 9:34AM
Tensil Clayton: WOW! Your website is great! I certainly enjoyed seeing the country homes too and the furniture. I love all of your pictures.
I am reading my Country Homes and Interiors (from Wales) calendar tonight and have just read a great idea to share. They said to "Welcome the New Year by tying lengths of ribbon and fir cones to your gates." I have plenty of pine cones in my back yard (the Welsh called them fir cones) and ribbon. So I shall decorate my railing by my front door with pine cones and ribbon. Happy New Year!
Warm wishes to you and Al,
Tensil

My visit was one of the highlights from the Christmas season. Looking at the pictures from the spring sale makes me eager to be their again, too.
The pictures from your friends homes are great. I would love to visit them!
Thank you again for your hospitality. Be safe and I hope to see you again this spring.
