dena bawinkel: awesome website! I feel like a celebrity. I finished tying my quilt this morning. I now have sore fingers and a tired back. It's good you didn't tell us about this step before we started....Thank you for the pins. I used them on my borders which I hope to sew. Since my machine is Italian they had to order the walking foot for me, so I have to wait to sew them. Beth is planning to have the babies on June 3 so she can come to the last class! Love, Dena

How do you take care of John (Mr. See i looked - I presume) and do all that you do at school and still have time for quilting? I get tired thinking about it. Also enjoyed seeing the pics of your family.

February 7, 2003 6:07AM

Patsy Rillo: I am from Tulsa, OK, and stumbled onto your albums accidentally. I loved looking at your quilts. This is great putting them into an album and sharing them. I am a quilter also, but I have not made near so many on my own. My grandmothers, mother, Great Aunts, and Aunts, all passed their quilting on down to my generation. Many of the women in our family quilt. It is beautiful to leave something so personal for new generations. My mother would say: "You can not make an ugly quilt." then she would proceed to put together the stangest combination of colors, designs, etc., and I can say: "she never made an ugly quilt". Thank you for sharing. God Bless
