Cindy Hulsey: HI!
I am also from Oregon! I live in Grants Pass. I love the Oregon coast and Cascade Mountains. I've lived here since 1975.
I am moving into a new house and Studio. I love seeing how others have their studio arranged. I'll post photos when I get mine organized better.
I've been to those Lava Fields and found them fascinating. It looks as though the Volcano erupted just recently.
My doll photos are posted at my website: www.ccbeadwork.com

smc74081: Hello Deanna, I found your site by accident, and I was very taken with the techniques you have devised for making your reproduction Alabama Baby. What is interesting is that I have come up with some really similar techniques for making cloth-covered clay doll heads! It is actually uncanny! Reading through how you apply the cotton knit fabric, it is pretty much what I do - same glue, same cloth, same way of doing it in small stages etc etc. Your finished doll is a very true representation of the original - well done! You can see some of my dolls made with this cloth-over technique at: www.picturetrail.com/smc74081

Delores Straight: Deanna, I really LOVE this Alabama baby doll. Thanks so much for posting this tutorial. I have been trying to figure out how to make this doll, and you have shown me the way. I hope to find a lovely head like you did to use as a mold. But you have the most charming Alabama baby doll in the challenge. You really do great work. I have been watching your dolls for sometime, and have a couple of your patterns.
Thanks again for sharing this tutorial.

Daun Greene: Deanna
I too am a member of vcd. I post rarely and as members go I am fairly new to this club, last summer. I was not at all excited about this competition until I saw your picture trail. It is fabulous. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills.
