ROGER: Love all your birds. But I'm interested in buying either Japanese Mottled Bantams or hatching eggs.Would you have either for sale?

Denise: I am new to all Poultry and have decided to start with the Silkie Bantams. After doing alot of reading and research, I decided that their temperament was the primary reason for being my first choice. In addition, they are absolutely adorable. Who couldn't fall in love with all that soft fluff?
My first eggs came from a farm here in Michigan. Out of 18 eggs, I successfully hatched 15 healthy, adorable, fluffy chicks.
They are now almost a year old.
I want to add some color to my flock, ( all of the chicks ended up being either blue or black and 3 Roosters to each hen.) It's still too cold here in Michigan, even keeping them in the house. I think that perhaps in another month or so, should be really good timing. I'll be looking for some hatching eggs then.
I think your Silkies are beautiful and I'll continue to watch for available eggs.
Hopefully, you'll have a variety of colors available at that time.
I've truly enjoyed your websight and all of your wonderful pictures.
