Karen Hempfling: My husband and I are researching Westies and hope to make a purchase soon. Our 13-year-old pug pass away last year and we have been allowing ourselves grieving time. That said, we are getting very excited about finding the right puppy. Gender is not all that important to us. This dog will be a pet and will not be bred. We live out on Whidbey Island and are newly retired and would love to visit some of your activities. Hopefully we will meet soon.
