Kevin: Hi i liked those pictures you had of your green advanced design. I was mostly interested in the 235 setup, this afternoon i installed my exact same setup, and everything went good, ( shaved the offy manifold down already,) Other than i had to customize my intake/exhaust mounting washers, did you have this problem? My big question is what did you do for linkage from the pedal? I have a 51 business coupe and i realized i need to pick up a rod for the pedal, and then do i just bend up my own rod to go from the block to the carbs? then thread the end so i can adjust it? Any help or pictures would be very appreciated, thanks alot.

Builder: Nice looking vehicles. Too bad you don't have the original Fuelie, but that one will do huh?
I have a '58 Fuelie Corvette. Those dang things are soooo expensive now. My Fuelie unit alone with the distributor was valued by Chuck Smith at approx. $14,000. Amazing that I blinked over a rebuilt unit 3 years ago for $2400. Chuck said that perfect and restored Fuelie unit and dist. are going for $15 to $16K.
Nice garage too.

bob lowry: Hi birdhtr....love your pu...! I drive a '54 every day over in Castle Rock...I'm known as "Allstate Bob" as I have an Allstate agency in town and have an Allstate sign on my truck...I can appreciate the work you have done!! Looks great! Quick question..on your old motor, are you certain that it is a 216? From the pics it looks like the lifter sheet metal panel does not cover the spark plug area, only below it, like on a 235? Also, is the engine still for sale? Email me back or call me at my office at 303-688-1966..Thanks, Bob Lowry
