Karen Hensley: Was just enjoying some of your photo albums with my daughters. I've always loved wildlife, and now try to instill that love in my children. My boyfriend and my daughters were in to see you a couple of days ago and brought you a baby Robin, they named Tweety. Just wanted to say thank you for your help in giving me information on how to care for the little bird, until they were able to get it to you. Just an update: The little Robin had a couple of older siblings in the nest that were killed by a Hawk, the day Tweety came to you. Curt and my girls heard a ruckus outside, and noticed other birds pecking at the Hawk, as it was trying to get at the baby Robins. One of the Robins had been mauled and killed and fell out of the nest. The Hawk carried the other one off. Later that evening. Curt saw the mother Robin calling out and looking for her missing young. This was so sad for me to hear, when I got home from work that day. I was so glad we were able to bring Tweety to you, before this had happened. I feel like we were meant to save that little one's life ^i^

Lori N.: I am perpetually awed by your dedication, skills, and ability to function on virtually no sleep! Not only do you manage to rehab hundreds of animals every year, you also educate and advise,...and all at your own expense. Thank you for all you've done to help both the Wild Ones and those of us who unexpectedly have found ourselves in need of your expertise!! May many generous donations come your way, as well as additional volunteers to help ease your workload!!!

Mary Barrientos: I learned about you today when my family and I visited the Deer Farm and Petting Zoo in Sevierville, Tennessee. I put some money in the donation jars, as I usually do for any legitimate organization that helps animals. The staff at the Deer Farm spoke highly of your efforts! Tonight, when I was perusing the Deer Farm's website, I clicked on the link to your site, and I am totally impressed. Keep up the good work. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Also, I cannot promise, but if I am ever able to provide more financial assistance, I will send what I can. In addition, if I am ever in your area, I would love to visit. I hope that you allow guests. We are taking our vacation in the Smoky Mountains this week; we are from Germantown, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC.

Carolyn: Your work does not go unnoticed by the children you visit, they tell their parents what you are doing. Soon more people will come to realize what happens or does not happen to hurt wild animals. We have a mutual friend, I have been to your house a couple of times. I loved looking at all the ones you were treating. Our mutual friend the groomer also is a hands on person as you know. Thanks to people like both of you, that know how to handle the different animals. I love looking at the slideshows. Thanks!

Cathy Russell: Lynn; Thanks for being understanding of my sorrow at giving up Binky. He was only in my life for a week. And such a small thing. But he grabbed onto my heart and even though is now with you, still holds tight. I believe GOD gave us animals for more than just sustinance. But to show us life. And love. That little squirrell will always be in my heart. Someday if I am setting out on my deck and one approaches and lingers, I will forever wonder???? Teach him well and love him. Thanks Cathy Russell Sevierville TN

Eddie: Lynne, I have always had profound respect for you and your caring of and for wildlife, ever since I lived next to you as a young boy. I have always been a supporter of wildlife, from bugs to bears, and there is now way I could kill anything unless it presented an all out threat to me or my family. I keep finding baby and injured animals in my yard, and you are always there to take them in. I do not see how it is possible for you to care for and feed these creatures around the clock, every day of the year. But I am glad that you do. I wish I could give you an unlimited amount of money to help with what you do, because that is pretty much what it takes to do your job, and I know very well that much it not most of your costs are borne by yourself, with no matching funds or paybacks of any kind. I guess I can sum it up by saying thank you for doing what you do best, for all of us who can not or will not do it ourselves. And God Bless your efforts, family, and the animals that you care for.
