Amber Blavin: Hi Scott,
My husband and I and our baby met you on our way up Dool Trail. Wow you have such detail field notes and pictures. Your work is very impressive. Big Basin is a real blessing isn't it? I would be interested your schedule of guided tours for the next couple of months. June is a very busy month for us. Starting in July I think I would be able to get a free day. I am an aspiring photographer, and I would like to take photos of Big Basin to make tourist cards. I have a card rack in the gift shop. I can't say that I know Big Basin like you do. I have been visiting off and on since my youth. You are certainly the person to go to learn more.

Julie Sidel: Wonderful Scott - it really reminds me that the the park is a water wonderland! I wonder if the site you have listed as Waddell falls is historical Woodwardia falls? It might be worth comparing to some historical photos.
