Cortney Sellers: I'm proud to say that the first race I every attended Dale Sr won, but sadly I didn't know that it would be his last to ever see victory lane again. I think that was the sadest day of my life. I lost a great hero. I'm very proud of Dale Jr. keep up the good work. Dale will always be missed but he will never be forgotten.

Betty Respess: Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was one heck of a driver. Will never be another like him; however, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will succeed in his racing career and will be next in line to his father. Just so sad that Teresa treated him and the No. 8 the way she did. I am sure Dale,Sr. would not approve of this but its her show now and she is going to run it the way she wants to. Anyway, Jr. keeping going. You will make it and we love you and support you no matter who you drive for. Betty

Rachael the Earnhardt fan: well, i was and still am one of the biggest fans of dale Earnhardt "the intimidator" which hell yeah he kept to his name that is for sure...Earnhardt Junior is a spilt image of EarnHardt senior but can never take his place. I am 14 and no enough to no that Dale senior was one of the best nascar racers and is the best and was the best and meeting him b4 was a awesome chance that i can keep with me and makes it even more special that i got to meet such a cool guy....Sence i was little i loved watching the races out in the barn parties that we have sence i live out in the country.... I love this album because it show you a lot ..of memories . And even though he is gone his memories and his jobs well done and himself will never be forgotten and the intimidator never dies and neither will his legends ....

TomTheThreeFan: Dale is STILL my hero. I refuse to let it go. Talladega has been heaven on Earth for Earnhardt fans. Thanks for the nice tribute page here. Great job. Kerry and DEjr are goin' to the front. You'll see. I saw the comments about Kerry and Bradshaw. I believe that Kerry would do well in the #1 D.E.I. car, but it looks like R.C.R. is going put Kerry in a Cup car, a few times, in '04. GO EARNHARDTS ! See ya' back at the camp at the I-20 tracks - 'Dega, Texas and Atlanta. -TomTheThreeFan

Steve: I was a Earnhardt fan beginning in 1983. I cried like the day I lost my best friend to cancer and he was the closest thing I ever had to a brother. In a way Dale was my best friend even though I actually never met the MAN. I did get to shake his hand once. He held out his hand for a pen to sign his autograph and all I wanted to do was was shake his and. Which I did. I noticed the determination in his eyes, a look I'll never forget. He then went out and dominated Talledega. It was a special moment and special race. It was the first race that I had attended that he won. The feeling was spectatcular. I had been to probably twelve races and never saw him win in person. I still miss him him and watching races will never be the same. I'll never follow one driver the way I followed the Intimidator, as there will never be another driver like him. God Bless him and his family, he is sorely missed
June 15, 2003 10:39PM

katherine: this is the most perfect way to remember the good ole #3. above all the other drivers, the intimidator gave me laughs and tears. when he died i was heartbroke because not only did i lose my nascar hero but the world lost a racing legend. the thing i'll never forget is the way he raced.
June 10, 2003 2:32PM

Mark Elder: Dale was my role model. I patterned alot of my life the way he did things. I came from humble beginings as well. I don't know my blood father so I did'nt really have one other than my Father in Heaven and other than HIM Dale was my role model. When he hit the wall I knew, I don't know how but I knew. I got to spend 5 hrs with Dale a couple weeks before Daytona, in fact was his driver here in Nashville TN at an autograph session. What a memory! He signed a picture of me and my race car from Nashville speedway. Told me go to the front! Famous words of encouragement! Every Sunday there is and will be a void.

Cathy E, Watkins: My brother Danny sent this web site to me and I am very glad he did. We have tried for almost 2yrs to overcome our grief for the loss of our brother and each time I visit the past it helps remind me of how lucky we were for having him in our family and lives. We appreciate all the effort and time it took to put this together and know that it helps family, friends, and fans to relive memories and never forget what Dale meant to us and our lives.
