Pat: Hi Mike, Your photos are more than fantastic, your work is more than excellent. I just love the bees, but then I have always thought they are beautiful to look at. To even see the pollen on its head is just so awesome. I have no idea what you have done to the camera, even though I tried twice to understand it, but regardless your work was worth looking at and I think you should send all your pictures to National Georgraphic and other nature magazines. Thanks so much for taking these amazing pictures, most of all for sharing them. Pat

Darlene Martin: I visited Mike's site today...and was so sad to hear of his passing...I came to Picturetrail five years ago and his awesome albums were the first ones I visited....and I've been hooked ever since...he has inspired us all to acknowledge the beauty around each and every one of us...and given us the know how... on how to capture that beauty in our own way through photography. I've always been in awe of his gifted creations...and I know he will be sadly missed by all who have crossed paths with him. Because of him I have met many very special people in Picturetrail who have become close and dear friends...and we continue to share our love of photography and our life. Thank you Mike!!...you will always be a true inspiration to the world we live in....if all were like you...our earth would be a much peaceful world to live in!...people like you give us all the hope to believe and appreciate Gods beauty....my heart goes out to his family and friends....this site is a true legacy of his work...and a man who loved the world around him....thank you Mike....I will always remember your kindness.....Gramakodak

I bought a large magnifying glass, but I need to go back and find those smaller ones like you show. Thanx for the great tips, and keep posting those fantastic pictures of yours.

Maria: Your website is such an inspiration. Fantastic photos and marvelous techniques you have developed. I am an amateur photographer always out to learn more but have had problems with butterflies and only captured one good close up even with my Kodak +7 and +10 diopler lenses. I am going to try your technique, Maria

Tan Edward (Singapore): Hello Mike, Many Thanks for sharing your pictures and the homemade macro lens. What I am going to say about your pictures have been said by all visitors to your site. But allow me to add this, Nature creates beautiful animals but you have very kindly brought forth these incredible pictures which many of us would never have a chance to see and know. For me and my children, it is an educational and inspiring experience. God Bless.
