Nan Martino: Hi Kathy,
I used to live in beautiful Fallbrook up on W. fig St. I loved it there. My husband died in 1971as a result of a car accident. He was hit by a drunk, leaving me with 4 little ones. I remarried some years later and moved up to Anza, where I raised sheep for the meat. Now I live in Ohio. Your pix brought back a lot of memories.

Lorena Barrow: Wanted to let you know that I don't know anything about the mill in Canada you asked about, but I am familiar with one in N.Y. called Ancient Threads Farm & Fiber Mill. They do a fantastic job and I do recommend them. They do have a website. The email is ancthd@netheaven.com
Hope this helps. Lorena

Linda Carta: What wonderful wools you have? One thing that I especially enjoy as I spin is knowing the name of the animal from whom the fleece came. I was so excited to see that you have a Lottie on board. I would especially love to acquire some of her wool.. Would you please let me know how I might go about doing that??

dang: holy shit, what amazing wool products? how did you get started on this stuff? have you ever clipped a lamb's tail? did you ever build a barn? have you ever shown sheep at Pomona fair, grazed them in Vista, fed them to coyotes? have you ever built another barn? and then a third?
inquiring minds want to know...

Laura McNeal: How nice to see you on the big screen! I want to plunge headlong into those fleeces and buy roving. Of course, this would mean that my mother would have to spin it for me . . .

Elisa: I just loved looking at your pictures. I'm currently spinning Jake's fleece from last year in pet-combed random locks--the yarn is coming out absolutely gorgeous, in very contrast-y black and white. (With a fleece from a cute spotted sheep, it seems only natural to spin a spotted yarn.)
