Charlotte Kemsley: Wow, Leslie - I love your wild expressions! I can just about see you jumping up and down in the background, trying to reach out and grab hold of people - your pieces just say so much!! They're all impressive, but if I had to pick a fave, it would have to be your nymphs and dryads, as these are some of my favourite creatures:-) I luuurve the 'saltmarsh' piece, it's a whole story in there! Thanks for sharing:-)
Best, Charlotte x

Maureen Ryan: Found your site through AssemblageArtists (Yahoo group). I started thinking I would quickly see what you did and wound up spending over an hour looking through your wonderful images! It was quite a journey and well worth the time I should've spent working on my coming show. (I'm a potter, printmaker, painter, and assembler in Michigan.)
Your work is amazing!!! I especially loved your Music dolls and the BDs. I'm glad I took a break and wandered into your world.
If you want to see some of my work, go to www.glpg.org/pf_ryan.html or
www.midmichiganartguild.org/members/m_ryan/index.html
Again, it was a pleasure seeing your work.

mary miller: Hi, Kris borre gave me your name. I understand you are considering moving to the east. there are several traditional doll makers out here. However, a new group of art quilters is forming, and is inclusive not exclusive, and so would welcome you. Greenville is relatively less expensive than the much of the eastern united states, but the market for art is small as well.

Paper Doll Artist Jean: HI, Your dolls are very nice. You can visit my
dolls in the gallery. http://www.jeansartdolls.com
I am currently getting everything written and the templates drawn for the book. I am thinking at least 6 months worth of work. You can add a doll to my gallery for everyone to enjoy.
Do you do paper art dolls? If so share one.
I am also looking for designers for my site. If you are interested in joining just send me 3 samples and a list of your talents and if you have ever designed for another on line community
and the type of art you would like to do on JADS.
Thanks for your e-mail. Tell your friends about us. And I hope to hear from you again. jean

Carole Dailey: Hi Leslie,
I "know" you from the teflchina yahoo group. Hubby saw your posting for the website and we've got one
now, too! You can visit it at carken if you like.
Your jewelry is beautiful, but it's something I've never really seen before. We're in Hangzhou, and I've noticed there are lots of beads, etc. for sale in the market. I don't know if it's the same thing or not. There's also cross-stitch shops here! I'm busying myself with crocheting - got some really nice yarn here.
