Your name caught my eye. Did you or do you have a Sparle Plenty Doll. I found one, she's in very rough shape, but I love her as she brings back wonderful memories as my favorite doll. Just wondered if you had the same, and if you have any Dick Tracy Comic Books that feature her. I've looked everwhere. Just for fun would love to hear from you.

Lady Chapeaux - Louise: Hello Cynthia,
I just read the thread where you mentioned you had a flapper hat on at the convention. What a perfect idea. Just what I needed. We are going to a Tea and Performance at an historic house on Long Island (New York). The theme of the performance will be in the Jazz era of the 20's. We don't have to dress that way, but I thought it would add to the fun. I will suggest the band hat to my ladies. FUN IS THE OBJECT!!!
Thanks for mentioning it on the board.

Marylyn Griffith: Great Photos. Enjoyed looking at all the fun things your group does. I am the Darlin Queen and am always looking for fun group activities to copy. Loved your birthday cake. The Desert Darlin's will celebrate our 2nd birthday on September 6. My mom (a charter member) will be 85 on that day and she will be the special honoree. I've requested cards on the Mother Board to be sent to her (at my home) and will present them to her (hopefully a whole basket full). Rock Around The Clock Slumber Party looked like a lot of fun as did Renaissance Garden Cafe. Thanks for your reply to me regarding places to go in Dallas. I look forward to perhaps getting together on a Saturday that I am in town. I need permission and a password to print pictures from your album. May I? Many thanks, The Darlin Queen

Queen Bee Dianne: Our chapter started approx. 9 months ago. We are still in the growing pains of getting things on a level such as your chapter certainly has demonstrated within the photos I just viewed. We are known as the "Red Chapeaux Society of Waxahachie, Texas".
At this time, we are utilizing my email address for any information that anyone wishes to share with us. We are always open to any suggestions that might help us get women interested in making some sort of committment to our group. We get memebers, but, it's like pulling teeth to get everyone, or, even a partial group to participate in anything.
I simply loved all the photos and have made copies of each of the re-gals photos to share with my chapter. Perhaps this will display what fun they can enjoy if they simply put-forth just a little effort.
Thanks so much for sharing your photos and other information with all of us.
Sincerely,
Di, aka, Queen Bee
