Scotty Marx: Awesome truck man, I'm working on a 65 1/2 ton, progress is slow but it's getting there. I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of seats you have in your truck and where you got them. Thanks, great job on the truck

brent: Man, that's a good lookin' truck! Noticed you went with power steering. Do you still have the stock front axle? I have a mid 70's power steering unit but it doesn't have enough travel to turn all the way left and right. Did you run into this or do you have a different style of power steering gearbox or axle? (I still have the stock closed knuckle Dana 44) Thanks. BRent

Brent 65k10: Nice work on the truck. Progress has been slow on my 65k10. The cab's back together now and can now drive it as a backup (the "new" truck has 190K miles on it and I expect it to self-destruct at any time!!) Had a question for ya, I'm trying to find what the original transfer case shift boot looked like. I found a couple of trucks in Idaho that appeared to have the original boot, which was just a flat piece of rubber with a slot in it. If you can shed any light on the subject I'd appreciate it. Brent

bk65: Nice job! Thanks for the words of encouragement on my project (the yellow 65k10... not yellow for long, though). It's nice job on your 63. I looked for many years for a original k10 in the 60 to 66 years and finally found this one. I happened to drive through Idaho a few weeks ago, between Boise and McCall, and saw three for sale. Guess I'll know where to go next time. Do you have a picture or know of a web site that shows what the factory shift boot for the transfer case looked like? Can't find a picture anywhere. I've got one from a 67-72 K10 that will work fine but still would like to see what the original was.
