Esther: Hi from Halifax- will I be able to "print" out copies of the recent ordination pix when they are posted? How can I do that? By signup/log in? I was in Ottawa for the celebrations and I'm afraid my pix were not that great-as was to be expected. I'm the coordinator of the CC Lay Associates in Halifax and would like to be able to share some of those photos with our members. I'm good friend of Fr. Carlos, Fr. Yves, Linda in the ofc. etc. etc. Look forward to hearing from you. Pax, Esther Lancaster

Cecile Walker: Thank you for forwarding these beautiful photos of the ordinations. They certainly emphasize the solemnity and the joy of consecrating one's life to the priesthood or the religious life. It was my dream to have at least one of my five children give his/her life to God in this way, but sadly, it is the exact opposite - for now! God has them in the palm of His Hand too, and I try and remember that "with God all things are possible". Thank you for your own dedication. May you always be protected by our Mother Mary, and may the Holy Spirit always guide you. Sincerely, Cecile Walker

Martha Lush: Thankyou for keeping me in the loop. I would love to participate more fully in your events when weather and time allow. It seemed that every Tuesday evening during the Lenten series, we had snow falling all around, preventing me from descending from the Caledon Hills. At present I am babysitting my 3 grandchildren, the eldest, Stephen, turning 14 April 23. I have been trying to persuade him to come with me to the Lift Jesus Higher Rally... but without 'friends' to come too, he is reluctant. It would be perfect for him, as he will be confirmed May 14, this year. Please pray. Martha Lush

Don Mitchell: Fr John Vandenakker you are obviously the 'parish' photographer as I never see you in the pictures. Sort of how I have become in Lanark. St. Mary's is 4 blocks away from where I was raised (corner of Fairmont at Gladstone). Although I was a member of St. Francis I often went to St. Mary's. Cheers, Don

Adelina: Thank you, Fr. John, We hope that every single Catholic Church and Christian Church across our country join forces to raise out our concerns. My Church in Burnaby, B.C. did nothing at all in response to this issue to voice out our belief. Quite unfortunate! Do keep up with your good work, Father!

Gerald Cloutier: Beautiful pictures!!! I am delighted by your dynamic host of seminarians. Living on Montreal's South Shore, where the average priest would have retired from full time community work 10 years ago if not for the lack of replacements, your living example of unbounded faith in the Cross and the Eucharist and your success in attracting those who receive in their hearts the call to priesthood but do not see how or why they should respond, is most encouraging. Many French Quebec Roman Catholics have lost their way. We need you. Is a French speaking chapter in the works, or a glint in someone's eye? best regards, Gerald Cloutier

Lucy Rivera: Dear Fathers, I'm so extremely happy for your spirituality. You see I received Jesus into my heart and my life was transformed instantly, however if it was not the Catholic Charismatic Church I would have left Our Precious Catholic Church, like many other Christians that had done so..We appreciate you and love you so...I go to the Catholic Charismatic Center in Houston, Texas with our two beautiful priests, Father Francis and Father Ed. However I still serve at my local parish, I have prayed that our local Parish, All Saints, will also have this beautiful renewel someday soon.... love, all in Jesus Name, I pray

Jack Egan: All praise and honour goes to our Heavenly Father. Some 8+ years ago in the midst of much family and personal turmoil, my wife prayed a daily prayer asking that our then broken family be directed to a parish with faithful priests. Praise God that he directed us to Saint Mary's Parish in Ottawa and the Companions of the Cross. Our lives are now in order with God the Father at the head of our household. Thank you Father Bob for proclaiming God's Word.
