This time, I am going to tell you about my city Shenzhen and my fabulous life here. As I have told you before, Shenzhen is in the south of Guangdong Province which is in the south of China. It is one of those Special Economic Zones in China. It is also officially endowed with a provincial status in China by the State Council some 25 years ago. I came to SZ with my parents when I was only five years old and I received education from kindergarten to university; thus, that’s why I always tell people I was made in Shenzhen, haha! SZ is a “small melting-pot” because people come from all over the 32 provinces and 56 nationalities of China, as well as all over the world! The population here is about 13,000,000 and the population density is the biggest one in China! SZ has many number ones, the typical one is that its average individual income (salary) is the highest in China! Therefore, I would certainly love to find a job here, LOL! People of different internationals come to Shenzhen to work, study, or just to have fun. I love the multi-national cultural environment very much! I especially love its welcome reputation to all different dialects, cuisines, ethic group, race, etc., which is greatly unlike other inland cities of China. However, I am so worried about the environment, thus, the air, water, noise, light pollution in SZ. I go to have French course every single day, and I can only see the grey and yellow sky (60% of the days in a year, we have grey sky, in accordance with the weather statistics data) because there are too many autos! (7,000 new autos increase per months!). SZ now is somehow like the city of London in the past time when it was “smog” one and most of the citizens escape to the countryside (which is exactly the feeling in my mind. How I want to go to the beach! Though the so-called “beach” is still another can of sardines!). Dear Robert, I would love to tell you more next time. Hope to see you soon! Bonne chance! Je t’aime!

I'd been seeing your cards in a few places around town.. happen to go into the Dunes RV Resorts gift shop/market and noticed your Christmas cards showing 4 boats on the card.. one of which is Spirit of Newport. We are good friends with the owner's and so I purchased four of those cards to give to them, they'll love em.
I have a question, might you have any pictures of our charter boat we just sold December last year? The boat's name is BowWave a 70' motor yacht and was docked next to Spirit of Newport. We had BowWave in the Parade every year..!
I'd love to purchase cards if our boat might show in any of your photos..!! By the way, our boat was purchased by Caesar's in Lake Tahoe to be their charter boat (look up Caesar's in Lake tahoe on the internet).. she'd make some great photo's for ya on the lake now!!! :-)

Prem: Robert, i saw your sunset photo on the pic of the day page...WOW, that's awesome!!! i was just in hawaii recently, and i got a few nice pics too, but not like that. my other favorite was your waikiki at night photo! great job!! i do all landscape photography, and it's always nice to view the work of others and when i see shots like your sunset, it makes me want to work even harder!!!
