joyrhea2001: I think you did very well with all of them. When I first noticed your tray in the little thumb nail, I thought it was grapes around the rose for a minute, which would look great too with those colors. I really enjoyed your glass work. Hugs. rhea

Quwatha: You did a wonderful job on your son's door. I like your roses on your wine glasses. I also liked your 'first project', the serving tray. The only suggestion I would have is to make the roses stand out a little more than the filler flowers. Otherwise, very good design.

Annio: Wow what a wonderful job you did to your sons door. Did you only lead that on one side? That is the stick on lead right? Beautiful whatever it is.
Oops. Now I'll go look at the rest of you albums. :O) Thanks for sharing.

robin M.: hi, Nan! you may not like daisies, but i think they like you! your bucket's a cutie. and your roses! way better than what i could produce in a "first project"! nice mailbox!
suggestions? for someone doing really well, i may add...loosen up on you curlicues and roll from the shoulder! i struggle with this, too, but concentrating on the whole-arm movement did wonders for my linework.(it went from lousy to kinda ok! : )
concentrate your intense colors in the middle of your floral spray(like the tray). i.e., try using the berry wine(?) on the outside of the rose, white in the middle, and reverse some of the filler flowers(lite out, deeper color inside.)you'll get a whole different look.
don't get me wrong, your doing great!
oh, too, i found i got a little better stems into my leaves by dragging only the back corner of the brush(lite or dark corner, your choice,) into the leaf.
keep up the good work!
relieved to know i am not the only one who struggles with these same things : )

Carolyn Timmerman: What a terrific job you did! Be very proud. Your tray was beautiful, the comma stroke on your roses is perfect, and I thought not only was it perfect the way you nestled those 2 roses together, but I actually liked the way you placed a flower or two over your rose. Have fun with your glasses. One of my favorite surfaces.
