adrienne1955: HI; I FOUND YOUR ALBUMS ON PICTURETRAIL AND REALLY ADMIRE YOUR WORK AND PATIENCE THAT GOES INTO SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WHEN I WAS SMALL I GREW UP IN A SMALL VILLAGE ON THE ADRIATIC AND MY FAMILY DIDN'T HAVE MONEY TO BUY ME DOLLS AND ALSO THEY WERE TOO BUSY PLANTING VEGETABLES TO SELL FOR LIVING. THAT MEANT NOONE HAD TIME TO DO CRAFTS WITH ME. I REMEMBER HAVING A TINY PLASTIC DOLL AND A TINY CARRIAGE FOR THAT DOLL. SO THAT WAS MY WORLD AND US KIDS PLAYED WITH PEBBLES AND BEACH GLASS ON THE SHORE. NOWADAYS, I LOVE DOLLS AND I LIKE TO MAKE ANGEL DOLLS. SO, YOU NEVER OUTGROW DESIRE TO HOLD A DOLL AND MAKE ONE. THERE IS A CHILD IN ALL OF US AND IT IS OK TO FULLFIL THAT NEED AT ANY TIME IN LIFE. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR TREASURES. BLESSINGS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008. ADRIENNE

Peg Reynolds: Your work is lovely. I especially liked Star Dancer. I have not attempted any dolls with armatures yet. I will most likely do that after I get Pam Grose's basic book and basic female doll pattern. I enjoyed your pictures. Peg

Sheila: Your dolls are really wonderful. I love the colors and the way their individual personalities show in the photos. Thank you for sharing them with everyone and thank you for helping me with the doll clubs. I hope one day that my dolls are equal to yours.

Rosa: I found your site while reading back-messages on Phyllis's site. I really love your dolls! We seem to like the same designers and color combinations. Keep up the good work, hope to see more. Thanks for the inspiration.

Alice Topp: Mary Ellen, you have done an incredible job on the dolls you have made. They are so well done!
My favorite is "Mary Francis". Your color coordination, embellishments, and attention to detail are so good.
