Anne FLower: Hello, Sperroweye. You've asked what kind of bird it is. It is an European bird. But this bird is Dutch haha, I am from Holland. We call it Pimpelmees, In English it is Blue Tit, In Latin Parus Caeruleus. This one has a blue head. The black headed we call it Koolmees, in English Great Tit, In latin Parus Major. I like your photo's and to see what kind of birds and flowers you have in Florida. Have a nice day, Greetings from Anne

L.L. Walther: Hi Candace: Thanks for sending photos. You asked about clematis. If anyone can grow them in Florida, you can! Most are quite heat-sensitive and really can only be grown to about Zone 7 or 8, but check out the clematis variety zone numbers in mail order catalogs. Some "say" they are good to Zone 9 or 10, though it's iffy. There are a couple wild, native clematis (I offered one at the plant exchange) that are not especially showy however. One is called Leather Flower and is closely related to the other, the name of which I cannot recall at the moment. Look in one of those native plant guides. I don't know of a source. I found mine growing in my neighbor's yard and rescued them from his weed-eater! Clematis like their feet (roots) cool and should be planted quite deep, mulched well and watered often. Good luck. Anne Huer: Hello Candy, First of all 'thank you' for signing my guestbook. So glad you like what I have done. When I first started out creating my web site I wasn't sure what to include but you will find as time goes on that all the wonderful things that you have seen and done will evolve on your very own web pages and yes..people out there ARE interested. I am constantly surprised. Looks as if we both have a lot in common. I love your photographs, especially the Colorado ones.I have never visited the States so it is nice to see someone elses interpretation of the scenery. Hope the weather was good when you visited Norwich! I only live an hour from the city. Such a small world really. I visited Sweden last week-end so I shall be adding to my photos shortly. Hope we can keep intouch. With very best wishes and 'congrats' on your site. Anne.
