Joann Richardson: I was told to tell you that Jan Atherton sent me, but saying I'm glad she did is off my own bat. I'm originally from MN in the US, and married a Scot from your neck of the woods and moved to London. Ran into Jan on B&B's forum, and she mentioned you. Hence my visit. :) You are really good. Of all the beaders' work I've seen, you're the most consistently in step with my own tastes I've seen yet. Of course, you do things I believe are demonstrably impossible and refuse to even try... I especially like the "Shell" one, and "Seashells", and "Fan" and the spiral ones. And the 'Nother Ndebele. I've done about an inch and a half of Ndebele, and I honestly don't see how that's supposed to hold itself together. So I'll just sit over here and stare in awe. Very nice album, and I hope I see more of your stuff!

Jan Atherton: Dear Mary, Wow! Your work is so lovely, so delicate! I had a go at the Saroguro leaf design myself, when it appeared in Bead and Button, my little bracelet is made with size 10/0 white ceylon beads. I loved your brick stitch earrings and the blue vicoria set, very much, and the ndebele bracelet is gorgeous. Love, Jan

Maureen: Hello, I can't believe I'm the only one to sign your guest book. I got home after Plymouth and crashed out at 2000 so now I'm up and can't get back to sleep. I've had a look at everything. I hadn't realised you were so versatile and imaginative. David's a bit of all right isn't he? The kids are gorgeous, real water babies but I can see Jonathon's a bit of a Maggie Simpson when it comes to his dummy. I bet you'd have a real crisis if he lost it. Isobel was the same with her baby shawl until she was about three. It was a right grubby rag until mother in law tied it up to look like a little doll. Anyway, congrats on the picture trail, it looks very professional and the jewellery is a real treat. Catch you later Maureen
