Marla Work: Dear Statler Sister,
I visitined your quilt pictures to see examples of painting on quilts from Irene web sit.This is something I have dreamed about and did not realize someone had done it. I have the paints both kinds perma stiks and Tueso-Inks. but have not had the opportunity to take classes of this type in Ohio. Now I am drueling over your quilts. I want to take outlines of my daylilies photots of the different forms quilt them then paint them I do not know when I will have the time but must find it. Your quilts are an inspiration and I coped the pictures to my pictures for inspiration. They are exceptional work I would be very proud of. Maybe someday we will meet. But I hope you keep doing work of your style beautiful and very special. I see pretty quilts like we all do but these are truly special works of art. That stand by themselves as exceptional.
