marie olson: we were wondering if we could use some of your pictures to create a womens ironworker shirts,,we feel you are the for runner in the trade and would like to dedicate the first shirts to you if that would be ok ...kinda leaning to the picture of you welding on the beam with them long legs ...if you can let workrags.com ...know it is ok ...wanted to do it as a surprize but because they haveto do it legal and all then I needed to ask you if we can use your pic.. thinking itwould be great to silohete it ... and add your name ifthats o'k ...let julie know at workrags.com maybe like jeane told me...you might come up with something diffrent too,,,,we sisters are making it known we are out here too....the few the proud ...marie

Melissa Tello: Hello there Jan! :) Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures. I'm really surprised with the lighting difference. The lighting at G'ss was so low I was even complaining to Carlos you can hardly see the front row of the band but your pics are sharp and bright! Carlos forgot to flash you his nice big smile. My favorites are of the timbale player using his elbow and your series of the new bass player. What a great addition she is. You got good pics of them all but those were my faves. Forgive me for not visiting with you longer, you seemed to be concentrating on your next shotbut I should have invited you to join our table. Next time please do. Janet Orion: I lived in Hawaii (Kauai, Maui and the Big Island) from 1973-1977. Sure can't beat that weather!!!! I keep thinking about going back, too. I've heard islands on Caribbean side of Panama are quite nice! Love.

jess172: The Ironworker in the Newsweek cover is Rick White. He was usally a foreman for American Bridge.I think he was out of Dallas local His Father was a superintendent for them. The picture was taken right before Rick Was shot in a bar fight.

Rocky Hwasta: Really enjoyed the ironworking pictures. We have a Local 17 gal named Wendy Nolen who I've known for about 10 years. She's "hung" with the guys and is awesome. Richard Copeland: Hi Jan...enjoyed the pics. Nice to see Stevie Ray...danced many years live with him in Austin town...I moved there in 1967 as a 16 yr old. Have friends in Hawaii also...namely a lovely lady by the name of Joan Ocean who lives in Captain Cook...and does Dolphin work...(never been there myself) I am half dolphin myself I think. That Leo/Virgo/Dolphin/Sirius thing don't ya know...ha....Have you ever been to the Balloon fiesta blowout in Albuquerque? Awesome. Before I settled in Crestone, I traveled for 16 yrs. mainly doing Rennaisance Festivals. We'll talk later.....
