mojavedude: Hey, awesome quad, just from seeing yours mkaes me want to keep my Mojave instead of selling it to buy a Warrior. Basically I was wondering how much you got the Big Bore Kit for. I know Four Stroke Tech doesn't do internet, only phone business nowadays, but asking you would be easier. Thanks!!!

April 20, 2002 9:40AM
mojavedohc: Kudos!!!! LOL, i have an '01 mojave and am looking to modify it. It'll already roost any warrior and most modified 300ex's. let me know how it handles, and how envious those 400ex riders are. because after all, the mojave "IS" the best woods machine, and most well balanced. this july, i'm going to either drop a kx 250 motor in it, or i'm going for the 330cc kit offered from fourstroke tech. sign me up for a set of those A-arms too... i'ma need em LOL

kawiguy: Fantastic pics, I'm kinda in the same postition, but pretty much stock rebuild. Stripped and blasted everything, new seals bearings etc all round. Powder coated every single part (at work). New cams, valves, guides, rockers, valve job, had a friend do some porting. I need to buy a pipe and a rear shock. Your machine looks great.

Charles: Hey Chuck......
The modifications look great!!! I love the a-arms you guys made. They are awesome!!! Sign me up for a pair for my 300 when you decide to start taking orders....or whenever you just feel very generous and want to help a poor, under paid, overworked fellow rider out with a free pair. I think the front shock mounts are a cool addition as well, and the modified nerf bars are so cleanly made they look like they were ordered from the Kawie factory. Everything looks great! Too bad Kawasaki doesnt have their Mojaves rolling off the assembly lines built like yours....at least then they might be ablt to keep up with those Hondas in the woods!!!(hehehe)
I think I would like to see the swing arm a metallic silver-gray, or as close to the color of the a-arms as possible. You guys deserve all the attention you can get for the great work you've done, and the swing arm simply blends in with the rest of the frame a little too quietly.
I cant wait to see more pictures. You guys keep up the good work!!! I know it's going to look great and handle great...now all you have to do is drop the Honda TRX90 engine onto the frame to make it run a little faster!!!!
Seriously, you have done a spectacular job. I do have one more suggestion, however. Tell Chad that if he must include his legs in any more of the pictures, do us all a favor and get a little S...U....N on them first. After looking at that one photograph, I suffered from a temporary, but painful moment of blindness!!!!
