James Kearney: Alice, I assumed you could see my email address that I included when I left the last two emails but perhaps not. If not, it is kearney.james@wanadoo.fr. I would really appreciate knowing if you painted some of your fan lamps to get the effects that are so attractive. Thanks, James Kearney

Tina: Alice -- I really enjoyed looking at all of your beautiful projects -- you can tell you enjoy your new hobby! Were the fan lamps hard to make? I think they would be similar to small panels, but have never made one. I especially like your nautilus shell fan lamps -- did you cut the shell in half (maybe using a Dremel?), or did you leave it whole. Also, who was the lucky person to get your Gandolf? My son and his friends are Lord of the Rings fanatics, and I would like to make him a panel similar to yours -- it's great! Keep up the good work, and thank your husband for his framing techniques. What kind of nails or brads would we use since we don't have a power nailer? Thanks again for sharing. Tina Fangmann

Where did you get the pattern for Gandolf? I haven't seen it before. If you made it would you mind if I were to copy it (only smaller)? Have a safe and happy new year... Scott

Sandy: Seeing your work online is beautiful but not as unbelievable as the real thing. I ran into a stained glass store in Clearwater the other day and found they give classes and I'm thinking of joining. If I could do anything half as beautiful and original as yours it would be worth the time, effort and money.

Jane in Canada: Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for stained glass with everyone, I am dying to do a lot of the same type of patterns as you have done, especially the fan lamps, butterfly stakes and the agate piece. I have done the willow lamp but it doesn't look as good as yours! I added leaves in the inside of the lamp to shadow effect it and that turned out pretty cool but my soldering is terrible!!! I have been doing stained glass for about a year now and am totally obsessed!! I am glad you are on the w/criv chat! God Bless!
May 4, 2002 7:44AM

Pat: Alice, it was interesting to see your hummingbird panel. It's almost indentical to one I made last year for a friend. I didn't use the filigree for the birds, didn't know about them at that time. I like your flowers better than mine. Your other work is beautiful.

Keep up with your Stained Glass, for the love you have for it shows tremendously! jackie
