Paul Petty: I've been looking at your photos of the build-up[especially the frame]and it's looking real nice!I have just bought a 55 chev 4 door bel-aire and want to do a complete frame off on it.It has a 1960 stock 283 that runs great but has wrist pin noise somebody obviously overhauled it but did not replace the pistons]I will be running a warmed up 348 w motor with a muncie wide ratio 4 speed if I can find a transmission in good shape.I live in Alaska so I spend quite a bit of time in the garage in the winter[too cold outside to do anything else.Lots of luck with your project, you've got a great start!

jcarlton: Hey just wanted to say great job on your progress. Sometimes I get pretty discouraged with the condition of the '55 that I have. It's nice to see others that have come as far as you have...it's definately an inspiration!

chevyman: I enjoyed looking at the pics of your project. I too am located in Tx. and am feeling real lucky with the car that i am rebuilding. My car isn`t in the need of so much repair, but i`m glad to see someone willing to tackle a project with the challenges involved in yours. I hope my frame is in the same step as yours in the next few months. Terry.
