Sparroweye/Candy Pfau: ps, How rude of me not to include my email address. I was born in 1946 in Miami. My first boyfriend Bobby Blanchard moved back to New Jersey and broke my heart. I had many Ginny dolls but sadly not a one survived.

Sparroweye/Candy: I love your photographs of your dolls growing up. We came from the same era. I had a two different Betsy Wetsys, one with real hair and one bald. Then later I had my first Madame Alexander bride doll. My mother made all the Betsy Wetsy doll clothes. The last doll I requested was Pitiful Pearl but my mother refused as she said I was too old. I am still mad at her for that. You can view my family photographs at http://www.picturetrail.com/sparroweye I do not like all these Myspace people coming in to Picture Trail.

Mary from Texas: I found your "Ginny" doll site because my very own "real" Ginny (my 21 yr old "baby"), is having a baby in June and led me to her Website and then I saw your "Ginnys". Personally I love my Ginny very much, but didn't even know there was such a thing as Ginny dolls, or I would have been collecting them for 21 yrs now, too bad. My Ginny is having a boy, so I guess it will have to be something "Manly" that I collect for him, don't even know what little boys are playing with now. Thank you for the look at the "Ginnys" I didn't get to play with and try to visit my Ginnys website, it will thrill her to see that I was not the ONLY visitor. Cathryn Peters: Hi Betty! Imagine that, finding your lovely baskets here on your PictureTrail album while surfing around on the member view lists! Remember when you sent me the Monkey Business basket on the AOL basket board swap years ago? I still have it and will treasure it forever. Now I have to go back and look at the rest of your albums to see what you have been up to. Take care and stop over on my PictureTrail too sometime www.PictureTrail.com/wickerwoman or my website www.WickerWoman.com Miss hearing from you and the gang on the Board! classicsstrings: I too had two darling Ginny dolls. Foolishly I gave them away to the daughter of a friend. It was a mistake. I think she really wanted a brand new Barbie. I did keep many of my dolls and now am selling many of them on eBay. Though they were packed away for many years it has given me great delight to display them here. Blessings~ O;-)*

Tony: Hi Betty, Your Ginny Doll brings back many fond memories. I also grew up in the 50's and my aunt worked for the company that made the Ginny Doll. Needless to say, my younger sister had every one of them. I remember them to this day, hanging on her bedroom walls. They were passed down to other family members through the years and hopefuly still exist in someones trunk. Take care of her.
