Regina Troncho: HI Fannye,
I just visited your miniature works and am completely in love with everything! The Greystone manner is breathtaking.
Fannye, I am working on a victorian painted lady and would like to ask you if you can tell me where you purchased all the beautiful drapes in the graystone and in custom house #1. They are absolutely lovely. I have a sneaky feeling you made them yourself. I have been all over the web, and the nicest I have seen are by D. Anne Ruff. Can you tell me if you know of any other artisans who do nice drapes and bedding. I have a Val Tretter bed to dress, and want it done nice.
I would so love to hear from you. My email is rtroncho@sympatico.ca.
Regards,
Regina

Lynda: Your pictures are wonderful and they have motivated me to get back into mini's. It has always been a favorite hobby of mine but I have not done much the last 10 years. My mom & I used to attend all the shows together and belonged to a mini club for 15+ years but I moved away from the area and have not found any mini friends where I live now. Also my mom now has severe alzheimers (she's been living with me for the past 10 years)so we can no longer share our happy memories together. I do miss going to the shows and then having lunch with mom and other club members and sharing what we bought, then we'd all have to go back into the show room and get that little got-to-have item like the one that our club mates had found. I was working on a B.Potter shop ( was going to do a room then decided I could buy more good stuff if I did a store)so maybe I will get back to it.
Also I noticed you have several Karen Markland pieces, do you know if she is still doing mini's and does she have a web site? I bought so many items from her for my store that I should really call it "Mostly Markland" but there is always room for more. Also the lady that did your basket of roses, I think her name is Lavish, I am not familiar with her work but it looks great, do you have any info on her?
Thanks again for sharing the pics,
Lynda
