I was referred to you by Rob. Silly, but I don't have his last name. We've been emailing back and forth about him making a dress for a barbie doll for me.
My name is Tony. I collect Marilyn Monroe memorabilia and I have been collecting the Mattel dolls in MM's likeness. What I'm looking for is someone who can recreate one of her movie dresses for that size doll. Rob tried and was having problems with it and suggested I contact you.
The dress is from the movie Niagara. It's the hot red dress she wears in the courtyard scene where a group of kids are playing records. I can send you pics, but that will take a little work. Don't have any on my hard drive right now.
Anyway, I guess I need to know if you'd even be interested in trying. When I thought Rob was making the dress, I already started making the back scene for the doll ( and finished it).
Please take your time getting back to me. There's no real rush. In the meantime, I will try to get some pics of the dress ready to email if you want to see them.

I'm on a very tight budget but am extremely tempted to save my pennies and purchase one of your limited edition male nudes. You have so much talent that I can't imagine that the dollhouse won't come easily once you have your good mini friends to explain what to do. You already have the stain glass windows done! Mary Claunch lane: Your sculpting is fantastic. They are so life life, it is hard to be sure they are dolls and not people. the two of your nude are so perfect in detail. I am new to minis and haven't really done anything yet, except to straighten up some room boxes and just "look" at what I have inherited. I think there must be close to 100 dolls and thousands of mini furniture, animals, clothing, dishes, sofas, chairs, tables, even a teepee made of real leather. I spend a lot of time reading the SS newsletter and hope I get the nerve "soon" to tackle a project. I think the first thing I will do is to re-do a Chinese roombox that pretty well got destroyed in shipping. I believe everything can be repaired and replaced in the box. At present I am in awe of what others can do with a little bit of materials. Your picture trail sight is great.
