Monty Schmitz: I have, over the past several years dabbled in woodcarving and subscribed to Woodcarving Illustrated magazine. . Have enjoyed your articles and gained many insights that are helpful to me. . I, when power carving crosses that I designed using the computer paint program need an exhaust system. I was glad to find your "PictureTrail-online photo albums" web site and find your exhaust system. I, with your permission, intend to build an exhaust system similar to yours. I don't have a shop so will have to do a modification to make it portable.

Dave Brogan: Hey Don, it's your pal Dave from the Leiper's Fork Carving Club. What an enjoyable Website! It's almost like visiting with you in person except there's more patterns! Hope you're enjoying yourself on the road this summer, we miss you at the club meetings. I finally 'finished' that chain and ball & cage I was working on at the TACA Crafts Fair. I could (and probably will) spend a few more hours cleaning it up and applying a finish but all the links are done, the ball is round and still inside the cage and I still have all my fingers! Hope to see you at the club's carving show this fall, if not before. Take care on the road, I hear there's a lot of loose women out there! Later, Dave

Bob Bennett: Hello I am a friend of Fritz Polands and he sends his greeting! I am also the director of the Dover Woodcarving Show that is a tribute to Moony Warther. I really appreciate the effort you have made on your website. Fritz showed me a book you put together on carving characters of people you know. I did not find a way to order it from you. How can i do this?

Thomas W. Horton: You have to be one of the most enthusiastic carvers. Love your shop and all its' fixins'. Yep, just had to go thru all your pictures and enjoyed my visit a great deal. You have helped my interest. Even after carving a few years, my carvings are anything but good. But, viewing your site, will have to keep trying. Need more practice. Thanks again for your site and sharing it with everyone.
