Sister Mary John: My name is Sister Mary John. I am an Internet marketing and small business consultant, but I am also a doll lover and former dollmaker. I have a great interest in selling one of a kind dolls either modern art dolls, reproductions or antique on my own website. Based upon my market research and expertise in online marketing I am confident it can do very well.
What I am asking is that you allow me to act as your saleswoman, or representative and put some of your dolls on my site. It would cost you nothing. If I sold a doll for you would pay me a commission on the sale and then ship the doll to the new owner.
Please understand this is a no lose venture for you. If I sell your products on my website we both make money, if I don’t you lose nothing. If this sounds like something that would work for you please let me know. If you have any questions please contact me. Two web sites are better than one!
Sister Mary John

I grew up with wonderful parents as an only child (my son says it is cool having a Mom who never grew up,ha ha)...and a love for dolls and fairies, angels, mermaids, and a very active imagination. I have spent most of my life teaching my children and grandkids to use theirs. My twin girls are both art teachers, my son display co for retail store. Now I have just met polymer clay and am excited to learn to make my unseen "friends" come to life! After 35yrs my husband left ne for a younger woman and only $345 a month..but I have gotten a little clay at a time and hope to learn how to express my inner child through this medium. I live with my 83yr Mom who is great. So, I feel blessed as are you blessed, thank God for such talent. Nana

Jean Goings: Hi Sherry,
I don't know if you remember me but Connie sent me your site so I could see the dolls you are creating now. I work at IVCE and along time ago you taught classes out here. I was wondering if you would like to set up a display and sell your patterns while working on your dolls at a Women's Conference here at the College on Sat. May 10th? People would really enjoy seeing what you create and how you do it and then having an opportunity to buy from you. Just let me know if you would be interested and I can send you more details. Also, my future mother-in-law belongs to a doll club in the Cedar Rapids area. I forwarded these pictures onto them and they were so impressed. They are a small club of about 18-20 members but they were wondering if you would consider coming to speak at their club and show your dolls on July 15th around 12:30 or 1:00pm? They do not have any budget to work with but the two ladies in charge said they could each pay something towards you coming to the club. They said they knew it was probably a long shot since you are so famous but I said I would ask for them and see what happens. If you are interested, please let me know what you charge for something like this.
Thanks so much for even considering these two events. I really appreciate it. Jean

Debra Csucsai: Hi, Sherry,
I LOVE your dolls. Thank you for offering them and thank you for your creativity and willingness to share your talents! I am interested in doing the online Victorian Santa. However, I've only made one doll with armature and cloth covered (plaster) mold before. Do you think I could do this Santa via online? What happens if I don't understand something? How many hours is "classtime"? Can I make the outfit in advance?(I learned of the online class through the Cloth Connection site, by the way!).
Also, Sherry I live in the Washington, DC area (VA suburb). Are you planning to teach a class my way in the not too distant future? I loved the Angel Boy (and dog), and would love to make both...
Look forward to hearing from you. Debra
