Sandra Ian: Hi Frieda,
I have just been looking at some of your work on the web.
I met you when you came to Inverness a few years ago to give a talk at the CAT group. Since then I have done my City and Guilds diploma (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and was wondering what sort of medium you prefer for photo transfer. I have just started dabbling with paper/textile collage and also ATCs. Hope to meet you again someday when you are in this part of the world
Best wishes and happy sewing

Echt super!!

dirtsa1: Hi Frieda,
After you left a comment on one of my little creations on my blog the other day i checked out your blog and now came upon your albums. I've just been viewing them for the last half hour and they are truly inspirational. I specially like your ATCs, something to aspire to. I am still so new to the world of mixed media, but viewing your work has given me lots of ideas and inspiration.

Mirjam Pet-Jacobs: Hi Frieda, I would like to congratulate you with your Best of Show at Waalre! It really is a wonderful piece. As head of the jury I will tell you what comments I, on behalf of the other jurors too, made on it:'...After some discussion we unanimously agreed that Foxfires by Frieda Oxenham from the United Kingdom had the capabilities to bear the honour of a Best of Show. We approved of the originality of the design, in combination with excellent workmanship. The maker gave her own interpretation to a self-chosen theme: the Northern Light. She got the essence out of this by means of a simple design, shiny silk and an adequate and enhancing use of hundredths of beads. A true piece of art!" Enjoy the prizes that are coming to you!

Jolande: Oh Frieda, I am speechless like everybody who signed your guestbook! I am so glad I have met you through Yahoo.
I especially was impressed by the Journal Quilts 2005. I 'recognized' the 'school rapport' and I saw you have been on a Protestant school as I have, because of the ' Bijbelse Geschiedenis'. I had to smile when I saw that!
By the way: are all pictures and for instance the schoolrapport printed on fabric?
My sister has just started a patchwork workshop and she loves it! I will show her your work!!
Thanks again for sharing such beautiful work! Loved the accompanying music while peeking at your gallery!
