Helen: Hello from Greene,NY. Yep, It's me again. My husband deleted your email before I was done with it. I have some questions. I would like to join your group but am wondering what it all would entail. Do we just share photos, are we committed to exchanging anything? What all goes on in the group? What all is involved with the on line classes? How do the on line classes work? There are just so many questions. I am interested in learning more. I look forward to hearing from you again.

Helen: OK, I'll try again. I hit the wrong button last time and I don't know where my message went to. Anyway, I have been to your picture trail several times and enjoy seeing your work. I especially like the screen painting. What do you use to base coat the screen before you paint on it? Do you use gesso? I also like your Mr. Cackles and Ms. Cackles. Your roosters are sooo cute. I look forward to hearing back from you. Helen in Greene, NY

sharon: I live out here in the boonies of Maine.I've been a successful decorative artist for a number of years in idaho and then we moved to Maine. I find very few things out here inspirational or fresh and different. I tried selling things on e-bay and had no luck so i kind of gave up. All the shops around here are packed with things that are made in china even the souveniers that are supposed to be made in maine. Then I stumbled upon this site, I saw your work and looked at all your responces to your web site. I could'nt believe how many people responed to your guest book. Now I feel that all is not lost and maybe people are still interested in what we can produce in this country. I love your work it', I think sometimes I rely to much on books and should throw them all away and let some individuality come out. I can tell you enjoy what you do by your work. It must be inspiring to read all the positive comments. I think It's people who bring out the best in my work, they make you believe the sky's the limit. I'm thinking it's time to dust off the cobb webs and get back to doing what i love. thankyou for the inspiration!!!!! And much success in all that you do.
November 17, 2006 12:24PM
