Doug Heasley: Hello! I'm Doug Heasley. My wife Julie and I have a son who is four months old and has just been diagnosed with sagittal synostosis. We've only had a preliminary CT scan done and haven't even discussed the results yet with the neuro-surgeon, but I've been doing research in the week leading up to our appointment and came across your web log on the Jorge Posada website. At first what caught my eye was that your boys name is Dillon. Our son is also named Dylan. Not the same spelling, but nonetheless and interesting coincidence when combined with the fact that both fathers are Dougs. Then as I watched the video, a few things caught my eye which I found to be almost inconceivable. I saw your husband's Red Wings gear. We live in the Detroit area as well. Then I saw his Bosch-Rexroth hat. I work at Bosch in Farmington Hills. Then I thought, "this is getting a little spooky!"
But I'm getting over that because I'm on a mission to give our Dylan the best care possible and I'm thinking that someone in the Detroit area with a son whose had some similar procedures and who perhaps works at Bosch to boot (i.e. - perhaps the same insurance!) might have a word or two of advice for me. If you care to exchange e-mails, I would like to hear from you. I won't overwhelm you with 20 questions otherwise.
In the meantime, best wishes to your family. Congratulations on the arrival of your second son and our condolences for the loss of your father.
Sincerely,
Doug, Julie and Dylan Heasley
Jill: Hi Katey Boy he sure looks good getting on the bus.

Laura (Antonio's Mom): Hello Garner Family,
Hello Baby Dillon,
What a beautiful baby boy. Our family went through this same exact thing in 2003. Baby Antonio's surgery was September 2003 so seeing your website brought back some sad memories that were not forgotten just put away. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. Antonio will be four in May '06 and is a normal happy full of life little boy. He never seems to amaze us. However with him being four this year we are starting the appointments again to see if all has healed and closed up on its own. We have the next year to do follow up appointments and watching his healing process hopefully comeing to an end. We will soon know if his one and only surgery 2 1/2 years ago was the last surgery our baby will have to go through. We will keep praying. Thank you for your story and know you have touched our hearts.
Bless you, The Meehan Family
