I would like to make the Marley for a friend of mine and was hoping that you could give me some help figuring out the yardage. One windows 78" wide and the other 114 " wide. Can you tell me how much fabric to buy for that and then I will order the pattern. Please email me your response to benjamin@musc.edu. Thanks so much!

Ilene: Hello,
I made the awning valance for basement windows! The motif was billiard balls to match the pool table. We stained wooden balls that held up the treatments and also were on the ends as finials, and they looked like billiard balls.
We attached tassles to each point on the treatment. What fun! It is an excellent pattern for basement windows..adds to privacy but lets in the light. Now, I'm copying your idea as featured in Southern Living (1/2005)for cuff-top drapes.
Thank you for your fabulous ideas. I enjoyed meeting you at the Window Treatment convention in Baltimore last year. Keep up the good work!
