Liz Torres: Love the dolls! especially Edith Ackley doll with the dotted swiss pink dress with bonnet and the brunette with the white/green hoop dress. The round robin doll looks like she is ready for broadway and Adele your granddaughter is the cutest of all. I just love your homemade dolls, very well done especially the elegant lady Sophie. Hitty is my favorite and I can see where Mary Todd gets her inspiration. I never realized how special cloth dolls are and the love and work that goes into it. I will look at them in a different way now. They can be addictive!

July 28, 2002 5:32AM

Barbara Sherburne: Helen, I looked at all your dolls here today. In Edie's Travels, I loved the one taken at Noank because of the background. I also love Sister Mary Joseph. In the group of EFA dolls, you had one tiny typo for Very Cute Pair. For part of your description you typed "dol" rather than "doll." I loved also Edie with T. Bear. Very patriotic. I have to say, besides the exquisite work on all the dolls, the background for every shot was very well thought out and designed. You have done an excellent job with these dolls and the pictures. But where is Hitti? (I hope I spelled that right.)
