Debbie: I have been making gel candles and the zinc core wicks seem to smoke really bad when you snuff them out. Could this be because of poor wicks. Maybe its because of too much scent. The place where I purchased the wicks doesn't have a selection of thicknesses. I am hoping it is the quality of the wicks that is the problem. I purchased the scent from the sme place. maybe th quality of those are not up to par. I just really want to find the problem. The candles are selling well to family and friends but the smoke is a real concern. Please Help me. craftnutdeb@attbi.com
