Barb Bowie Aschettino and Jan & Deb Beaudway: Hey! I am in the Twin Cities and we just visited Zenith Ave South. Asked the Mayou's if you still owned the Zenith house ... I guess you finally sold ... :-(. Deb said she could find you on the internet ... and she did. We particularly liked Ron's pink flamingo member. I got married in 2004 to Al Aschettino ... did you meet him before you left CA??? We live in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey .. 45 min from Manhattan by ferry. Hope we can reconnect sometime soon ... I kept trying to send Christmas cards for several years .. but finally gave up. Lots of Love, Barb, Deb & Jan

Shannon Zahradka aka Mayor of Mingo KS: Thank you SOOO much for stopping by the exciting metropolis of Mingo, KS! I must apologize for not being able to give you the full tour....LOL. Wheat harvest is finally over and things are getting back to normal in our lil' slice of heaven on earth. If you are ever travelling down I-70 again and are in the area, send me an email and I'll try my best to be available for a tour. :) We are all anxious to see your photographic take on Mingo. Take care. Be careful out there...and keep enjoying every minute of it! You are both VERY sweet, fun people! Sincerely, Shannon Z Mingo Mayor

Peggy & Tom Yost: We just got a chance to look at your website and really enjoyed your pictures and also seeing your beautiful beadwork! We met you at North Ranch during La Fiesta Weekend; we were the newbies, remember?? We will be spending the month of April at North Ranch while our home is listed for sale. Hope to see you before you hit the road. If not, we'll be searching for the perfect lot to buy up there and will be neighbors hopefully. Take care of those flamingos! Peggy & Tom

Jerry T: Cathy, We Googled "Cathy Benton beading" and found a number of sites with your beading. Then I dawned on me to check out your Picturetrail site. I didn't know you had so much of your work on there. Our friends back here in Rochester are amazed at the beauty of your beading (and so are Dee and I). YOU ARE TALENTED!!! Give Jaxon a hug and we will see you in about 10 days. Love, Jerry and Dee

Carole Hansen: Hi Cathy, living here at N.R. has been even more fun then before; since you and Ron moved into the neighborhood. Your beading, line dance, carving and now I see stain glass....wow.. You go girl. You are great at all you do. Keep up the classes and the wonderful uplifting personality. We all love you here. Stay! Hugs and more hugs, Carole & Ger Hansen

Maralyn Carr: How do we get a price list for your wonderful jewelry? I represent a small museum in Westchester County, New York and we do a trunk show in late fall. You would not have to be there in person. We could take your work on consignment and sell it for you . But we would need to pick the pieces and we need to know if the price point of your jewlry would market well to our constituency. Could you please let me know. Thank you.

Stella Bennett: Hi, Cathy, Just logged in to see your wonderful Topsy Turvy bracelets. Girl, how do you find the time to do all this? I wanted to print five or six to provide inspiration to my "peeps". I was able to print out Misty Pearl, but I guess I need to have some kind of PIN #. May I have one, please? These are gorgeous and I know the girls (at least the ones who are left) would love to see them. Hugs, Stella

Alexis Stanton: I particularly loved the ice cream collage... these are the important memories! I believe we stopped for ice cream several times in Colorado during Ethan's graduation. Thanks for bringing an escape for us stuck in the middle of cold, cold winter!

bigshot photo guy: more wildly entertaining shots! And I can't believe I found a computer without a kid parked in front of it (there's something unsettling about a whole building full of books and all the kids craning their necks at moniters). Hope you had a great birthday, Cath. You guys look good!

Lynda Markwood: WOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! I loved looking at your beadwork and can hardly wait to share the site with all of the other BOF'ers in our newsletter. Your work is outstanding. Why not come to FL for the winter at the SKP park where we will be beading every day!!!
October 31, 2003 12:44PM

Stella Bennett: WOW!!! Just finished cruisin' through your photos. Your beadwork is stunning, as usual (and unusual), and your artsy pics are wonderful. I loved the witchy tree and the red car. I think I'll require all the beading students here to peruse your inventory. I'm inspired again. Thanks.

Stella Bennett: Hi, Cathy & Ron, I've missed you and would have kept in touch, but misplaced your card with your e-mail address. Cathy I see your name all over the place in the bead mags and Our Beading Times, so you are still busily beading. I spent the summer in Benson, but all my good buds were gone and it was hotter than the hinges of hell. Still is. Come back to Benson!!!!! Hugs, Stella

Big Shot Photo Guy: I had to come back a second day to see all of your pictures and the beadwork. I especially liked the Yellowstone stuff and the Cedar Breaks. All of your beadwork is fabulous, Cath (any of the works in black I find really striking, and the Sculpturals are really funky). More later.
April 3, 2003 12:15PM

bigshotphotoguythtt: these are all wildly entertaining shots(and my first time on the internet!). Hope all's well with you guys. It's spring here now, soon Edwin and I can ride our bikes. More later.

Rosalind Kennedy-Lewis: Congratualtions: Great beadwork. Today I did not have time to do all, but enjoyed the beadwork. You do a great job as always, very creative and exciting. We read your travels and enjoy them. We just got back from a trip--Florida, Cruise to Key West, Yucatan Peninsula (Progresso and Cozamel) then on to Grand Cayman Island. Then we flew to Las Vegas for the Viva Las Vegas show. I am busy with commission work and jewelry making. I make my own beads and also do dichroic pieces for jewelry. When we catch up?????? (does that ever happen) I will send you some photos. In the meantime we are both well and keeping busy with travel, etc. I also went to Belize on a cruise with a girlfriend of mine in December. This house is not on wheels, but we do get around. Thanks again for the photos. Rosalind

ruthbbernstein@att.net: I know that you wish you were here to catch the latest snow we had today. And we had a bead meeting too. The speaker did dolls and she was quite a character. A combination of Math Ph.D. and a porn guide. Details of how to put in the bubble wrap boobies on your dolls and bead flowers in the crotch. What a gas. If you will be in the neighborhood on Sat. April 12 you should go to the Landmark Center in St. Paul to see the Young Inventors Fair; and me. It is a really great experience to see what these kids have invented. And now, I'll go to see all of your creations. My Best, Ruth

George Benton: The Lumax billboard and the "Free Ride" were my favorites.

Sue Nichols: Dear Cathy & Ron, I'm so glad to hear that you two are doing great and keeping good health. By the pictures it looks likes you're having too much fun, its the only way to live here. Enjoy and I can't wait to see you guys. Don't forget, Indian food at my house. Hugs Sue
February 5, 2003 6:55AM

Jerry and Dee: The photos are great! It is neat to see the sites that you guys have seen. I am concerned that Ron may be "overcooked" if you left him to bake too long. And he kept his hat on...to keep the heat in??? Happy Travels!

Joanie: Dear Cathy: I have sooooooo enjoyed the photos of your work. I was steered to your web site by my dearest cousin, Dee. She frequently speaks of your work, your life and you in general. Naturally, her words are only of the highest in regard to you. I of course know of Dee's accomplishments, or I thought I did. However, I had no idea she, along with her other talents, made such lovely beads. I spent quite a bit of time on your site and didn't get a chance to go through each section. Be assured that I will return to complete the informative and interesting "tour". Your work is not only imaginative, but truly wonderful. Thanks for the tour. Warmly, Joanie

Peggy: Hi: Really miss seeing yunz guys. You need to visit the east coast! Sometimes I can't download your pics because I don't have enough memory on my PC. I loved the beadwork you did called "Fuzzy Butt". Do you have directions on that pattern? Peggy P.S. Why are you always sending me e-mails?

Candi Carroll: Thanks Cathy...

Rosalind Kennedy -Lewis: Thanks for the great slide shows. Mostly I went through your beadwork. Some other time I will go through your travel. I just wanted to say you are doing some great work as always. On September 26 I started giving classes at Hudson Glass. I will not be doing any beginning classes as we already have teachers in the area. At present I am doing Glass Mosaic on 1- TerraCotta 2-Glass 3-Wood and 4- with DiamondCRETE. So far it is going very well. Keep up the good work and if you know of anyone in this area that does those great chuncky and wavy bracelets, and if time will allow, I would love to take a class. Best wishes to you and Ron. Rosalind and Herb

Tommmeee Holland: Thanks for sharing many of your photos! I, for one, really appreciate each and every image. How about photos of each of you??? If we can't catch up to you in person, then we should get to see you in your albums on this website! Picturetrail.com seems to be good and easy-to-use, and easy for one and all to access.
