charsmith: Hi Ruby, here I am again in 2009 admiring your albums of absolutely gorgeous jewelry and other things. You are still so amazing to me and I would love to meet you, but know it's impossible, unless you venture down to NC. Keep up the good work and I will keep admiring it and telling the world just how wonderful you are. Thanks for sharing. Charlotte Smith

Carol-Anne Hitchcock: Ruby - thank you for inspiring me. I am so glad to see i am not the only person doing spiral rope - a "beader" friend (and tutor) says it's very easy (I think it depends on what you do with it!) Carol (UK)

Jennie: Ruby, You have an eye for beauty. I am just getting into wire wrapping and chain mail. In a couple of weekends I will be taking a silver fusing class (FIRE! woo-hoo!). I noticed that you ride an HD and that you were in the St Paul area for the winter carnival. Do you live in the twin cities area? I am expecting my first child in November, but still plan on going to Sturgis this year. I, too, ride a sporty. I think I'll make jewelry while the boys and girls are out riding on hot days. Your website has given me so much inspiration! Thanks for your hard work.

They have chapters all over so you maybe able to connect to one near you. I'm just learning to bead and know the brick stitch. Havent mastered the loom yet. I cant get the thing strung. Maura: Hello Ruby, I've always loved your beautiful, elegant and stunning creations. I was wondering if I could teach some of your patterns to the class, while I give/donate to you $5 - $10 per pattern per student? I would also give you the credit for all the designs that I use. I"m working at a LBS, and my boss wants me to teach seed beading classes. So far, I've taught 1 student from a kit at the store. I wanted to ask your permission first before I say yes to my boss. I'm not as creative as you, when it comes to seed beading, but I'm finding that my collection of seed beads are growing and I want to learn to use them. Thank you so much Ruby! I've been enjoying your book and CD very much. Hugs and love to you, Maura

Jamie: Ruby, I have long been an admirer of your work. I have your book (you traded it to me a few years ago for a book I had you wanted). I love the silver seed beads you use in your work. Are you able to share where you purchase them? If so, is the finish on them durable. I have a teenage daughter who adores silver and hates gold and I am having a hard time finding silver seed beads with a durable finish.

Karen Holden: You obviously have talent and are very creative. I have too many hobbies, and I am trying to eliminate reluctantly most of my beading - limiting it to earrings and French beaded flowers for the most part. Therefore, I have beads I can never use, and if you could and wanted them for free, let me know. If you have an address to which they can be mailed, I would gladly do so, instead of having to store 'em not used!

Your VeeNeck necklace and Bronze woven drop necklace are just gorgeous too! You've been making the most beautiful woven jewelry. Is the bronze drop hollow or did you bead around a center bead for support? Just lovely. --Destiny

Sandy Smith: Dear Ruby, Your beaded jewelry is spectacular, I bead also. My mom is my number 1 fan, I have sold some to at craft shows. I have been on your pic trail before and love it everytime it is the best eye candy, I need inspiration to keep going in my jewelry making small business and your stuff sure does that for me. Where do you buy all your beads and findings? I am from Canada and it is hard to find a variety here, we do have one bead store, but I want more. Anyways great job as usual Ruby, keep it up -Sandy

Destiny: Hi Ruby, I always love your work -- I've been admiring it for ages -- but now I gotta know, are those woven beadcaps on either side of the center pearl on your "chocolate" necklace? And if so, do you think you might be putting up a tutorial on them on your website? Pretty please? I've been wanting to know how to make woven beadcaps or spacers for a long time. I have "Art & Elegance of Beadweaving" with Leslie Frazier's article on woven beads and beadcaps, but I wasn't crazy about how mine turned out when I tried her technique. Yours seem both simpler and more versatile. Keep up the beautiful work, Destiny ;-)

Sandy Carlson: Beading is addictive. I have been beading for almost 3 years now and have devoted one corner of my living room into a work center with a craft table and boxes and boxes of beads and thread. Of course I have been an avid handicrafter for years and have taught my daughter how to sew and knit. Now she does the sewing and cross-stitch and I am going crazy over beading. Your work is lovely and your holiday ornaments have given me inspiration to tackle a glass oval ornament that I have been trying to design. Hopefully, if I can figure out how to use my digital camera (maybe after Xmas is over) I can send you a picture. I want everyone out there to keep beading and be inspired as I was by these lovely photos.

Patti (Jazzybead): Your work is awsome. I think I have your Wolf Eyes pattern. Did you offer it free online a couple of years ago? I got the pattern but like a dummy didn't record name of owner. I am doing a wolf for the back of a jeans jacket and wonder how I could put it on the jacket and be able to take it off when I get the jacket dry cleaned, its faux fur inside. Have you run into this problem? E-mail me directly (pott@tscnet.com) or I hang around the Delphi bead forum all the time. I would really love to get in contact with you. You do awsome beadwork. Happy beadin' Jazzybead

I love your beadworks, this is my first time to ever visit a site of bead ideas and got quite lucky to land on yours. I wish I could be able to get more ideas from you. Kelly: All I can say is WOW The things you make are amazing and so beautiful. And there is so much of it!! I am only new to jewelry making but I hope that one day I can learn to make things as beautiful as you. The main problem I have is though that we don't have a decent shop for beads so I can't get a hold of any really amazing beads so at the moment am stuck to your normal seed beads and glass beads! But I'm getting there. Continue with the great work, and thanks for putting up the tutorials, I'm printing a few off to try!
