Gerri Nostro: We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about WOW--a week of workshops for polymer and cloth doll artists--to be held in Fishkill, NY May 13-19, 2008. This is all possible through the kindness and generosity of Joyce Mikos, who with her sister Janet, started WOW in Concord, NH. We would appreciate if you would disseminate this information to your members. We are very hopeful this will become an annual event, but a successful first year is needed to ensure this. The web site www.thenewyorkwow.com has all the information on workshops, faculty, site, hotel accommodations, etc. Please do not hesitate to contact us for additional information. But I can see I need to get some pointers from you!! I also enoyed the Bark carving "Trying something differant" and the last one. You captured alot of character. Eleanor Pendergraft: These are wonderful. Are the cottonwoods from your property? I only wish I had explored art a little earlier in life. I only tried my first portrait in July of this year and have done 4 so far, with preliminary work done for a couple more. Three of the finished ones are grandchildren. I'm not good at photographing paintings yet and am not sure about formatting for transfer to internet, but I'll look into it. I have a new digital camera that I hope will help. What is your mailing address?
