I am a 60 year old man looking for a mature cat that is well house broken. My son and his wife and infant live in our basement but they are completely separate unless we open a door. I am disabled with a terminal illness and will be in a wheel chair within 9 - 12 months. Later I will be bed ridden with expeted termination in about 2-3 years from today.
My wife and I have owned cats in the past, but have not owned one for a few years because we were both working outside the home. Now that we are both home, I want a cat as a companion so it should be affectionate and willing to receive lots of cuddling.

I'm living in the basement of my parents' house right now - my daughter and her three daughters are living in my house next door, and I'm not allowed any pets. When (or if) I get back into my house, I will be getting a cat. I am, of course, interested in the Maine Coon, I've also thought about the Ragdoll and also the Selkirk Rex.
But, can't do anything right now - but I do enjoy looking at pictures.
