Marla: Wow, this is so fabulous! I have albums here myself on Picture Trail, I make dolls, I was just looking at the home page and found this, John Denver is probably my favorite all time artist and person. I'm 54 now and he was the era of my prime! I never stop listening to him, year 'round, but at Christmas it's especially true, the Rocky Mountain chirstmas album, I've owned it in vinyl, 8 track, casset and now CD, if you have any idea where I may be able to actually own the video of the T.V. special the album is taken from I'd love to know. I listen to that CD this time of year every single day!! Wow, your albums take me back, love it and God bless you for having this wonderful tribute, what a huge loss not having John in person any longer! Marla Michel

Rick Parry: I have to say, this is an awesome site. I love those photos of John and his love for the mountains. I am a guitar player myself and play his music. I will never sound like John, but I give it all I have. I can feel his spirit when I play his music. I was inspired by his music in the 70's. John has the best voice I have ever heard. Thanks for this site. Rick

It was nice to find your website so close to the anniversary of his death, to know he will always live on in photos, stories of his life, in the faces of his children and in our hearts. Proud to be a John Denver fan and lucky to live in the Rocky Mountains.

CC: Great site....enjoyed the pictures. Loved seeing a bit of what his life was like beyond the concerts and recordings. He certainly touched alot of people's lives. Loved the pictures of his home and of Aspen, for those of us who may never get to make the trip. John Denver's songs took me to places I wasn't able to go to in the routine of life. I haven't found a singer yet that matches his giftedness in songwriting and "easy on the ears" voice! God bless you, John Denver!

Scott Hopkins: Congratulations, Dave, on an AWESOME job of putting together such an impressive array of photos detailing John's life, family and friends! Your albums also helped me associate the names and faces I have heard so much about over the years. I have had the privilege of meeting Erma and Ron Deutschendorf, "Uncle Abe," Milt Okun, Jesse Belle, Jim Horn, John Summers and Steve Weisberg. Jesse Belle is a darling young lady (she sang a song on stage for us!) and all of these people are warm, deeply caring human beings. These photos touch upon many memories and help me understand each person's importance in John's life. Thanks again!!
