Rick: Hi,
saw on Daves that you were clearing out seedlings that you didn't need. If you have any others I would love some, we have a very large yard and would love to fill it with daylilies.
thanks,
Rick
I have purchased select seedlings from hybridizers that didn't need them and to make room for their 2010 seedlings.

Jackie Anderson: I forwarded the story of the Trail of Tears Iris to our Rose Garden Club in Marietta, OK at our meeting last month. We are dying for pictures. Are you a member of Dave's Garden online?
Many of the (Dave's) members are looking to buy the iris. There is a registered beardless with the name. Please make readers aware that the iris we are referring to is not a registered bearded iris, but one that is a privilege to have been passed down from decedents of the original travelers. Many would love to own it, I would consider it an honor.
I would like a picture for my files if you can manage it.
Thank You for the lovely story, as many of our members are far away decedents of the marchers. My home, since retirement, is in Thackerville, OK

James Kraft: Enjoyed your photos. Plan to return again. Love how so many of your photos have such great depth of field. Most people photograph flowers so that the background is blurry. Would be interested in whether you use a tripod or very high f-stops. The companion plants in many of your photos make the composition so interesting. This is a great place to visit.
