Mary L. White: I saw your page on the descendants of John and Catherine Hicks Skaggs. I am trying to find out information on Joshua Skaggs, born 1839, son of Levi and Clara. He was married in 1862 and his wife,Susan Dicks, remarried as a widow in 1866 to Henry Wesley White. I am guessing that he died in the war, but have not yet found him listed anywhere. I would be grateful for any pointers on where to look for him. Thanks, Mary

lynn lucas: I just found this sight on the net and it is wonderful. My family grew up on the hill above the old home place that now belongs to the woods. Some of my family still lives on the "creek". I am trying to find some pics of the olden days of my family for a lucas reunion surprise for the older ones. If you or any of your family have any I would appreciate if you would let be borrow them. I work at a photolab where I can make copies and not hurt the original. My dad was Charles Lucas. His sisters were: Betty Jo Lucas Holley, Evelyn (Midge) Lucas Uplinger, Louise Lucas Welch, Ruby Lucas Arthur and the brothers were: George, Oscar, Raymond, Bill, Danny. George and Raymond stayed on the creek. Betty Jo, Midge, Louise and Danny are all that are still alive. Thank you so much Lynn Lucas POB 873 Ansted WV 25812

Sandra Humphries Raedel: Bravo Kitty!! You've done a brilliant job in "bringing to life" those ancestors in which we burn the midnight oil to discover. The music is tantilizing & the measure of their lives a bit more "real" for us. Thank you so much for sharing! Sandra Humphries Raedel Very PROUD to be a WOOD Descendant

Jim Skaggs: Kitty: Very nice. I'm sorry it took me so long to get around to responding. I was cleaning some of my old messages off and somehow it had it as read (which wasn't)until tonight. I have been trying to go through all my disks of photos and copy all of them to a CD. Just in case, something should happen to all my disks. What is bad - I haven't got them organized yet? I will check back through my photos to see if I can come up with some more Wood photos which I will send them to you. Just bear with me - I trying to get all my photos on a computer other than my antique. I have been putting them on my friends computer with he has one heck of lot more room and a faster processer. Again, very nice photo - I agree that this is a neat way to save your photos other than on your computer or disk, etc. as a backup. Jim S.
