Diana: Lynn, Reviewing all posts to the fairisle list when I came upon your website, great pics! Wish I had that much of my fleece processed ready to spin. Great socks and I admired your drying racks. Can I ask how you made them? I'm an apartment dweller in Spokane, Wa and they looked like something that could be broken down and stored when not in use. Would definitely work better than a sweater dryer over the tub. Thanks again for posting the great pics and showing the rest of us your beautiful work. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again, Diana djrst@hotmail.com

Thanks for sharing all the lovely pictures, both of your tidy work area (mine is tucked into the kitchen/dining room area) and your lovely patterns. Harriet Roll: Hi! I sat next to you in our Fairisle class at Stitches. I have my little pink sock hanging on my monitor. Hope the rest of your trip was good and that you are safely back home before the BIG snows make it harder to get around. I enjoyed meeting you even if the class we attended was not all that it could have been! It was the least valuable of all the ones I attended at Stitches. But I did appreciate you and have enjoyed looking at your pictures. Since I now spend considerable time in bush Alaska due to daughter's living there, I really appreciated your pictures of home. Have a good, fiber winter! Email if you have time. I'll be in Bethel, AK late Oct. and early Nov but otherwise home in pretty mild and comfortable Illinois. I'm going to practice making soap enclosed in roving and and then felted for Christmas presents. And I'm going to knit, when I'm not at work in the library or doing those required things for general living. Cheers, Harriet Roll

Jane Mc Lean: Know just what you mean about having a very comfortable stash available. I, too, spin and my stash is growing by leaps and bounds. Been trying to knit up scarves and socks to try to keep up but I think that's impossible. I'm now spinning some baby llama and have made up a nice scarf with part of the fleece. For the past year or so, I've been spinning alpaca and have very good luck with blending it with wool. Always good to hear what others are doing. Keep up the good work.
