Roe Holcombe: I have SO enjoyed looking at your pictures - they are truly inspirational. I am a novice stained glass hobbyist, having just completed my first panels for a door. I noticed from your seasonal glass art that you say the trees are done by using overlaid copperfoil - how?? I wanted to do a similar effect on an iris (for the yellow beard), but each time I soldered the foil it lifted with the heat. I would be very grateful for any hints, thanks in advance. Roe - Happy new year!

James Kearney: Tony, your lamp designs are very immaginative and artistic. You should submit them to the Association of Stained Glass Lamp Artists for consideration in the 2006 calendar. The 2005 calendar is already in the final stages of preparation. You can find out how on www.asgla.com. Ciao, James in France
